Please join me in welcoming ‘Sir Chocolate Stockdale’ to the family.
You may remember ‘Fudge Stockdale.’ He had to remain in Singapore and according to a friend of a friend, left this mortal world about a year ago.
UPS uses conveyor belts, bar code scanners, and state-of-the-art automation installed in climate-controlled warehouses to sort packages and get them to your door.
KGH (Korean UPS) pulls a bunch of their trucks into a parking lot (which is also a drive-in theatre) and sorts the packages by hand in the cold.
I’m sure these trucks meet a bunch of mopeds someplace before this stuff actually gets to its destination.
Blah, blah, words, blah. Waiting at the airport.
Words, words, words, went to Bali.
Blah, blah, little Stockdales, blah, hair beaded.

Words, words, words, circus school.
Blah, words, blah, the little Stockdales found a rock.
Words, words, blah, Mrs. Stockdale gets me a beverage.
Words, blah, words, the beverage and it’s friend accumulate around my waistline.
Words, blah, words, two of the little Stockdales under water.
Yada, yada, yada, the middle little Stockdale and I go snorkeling.
Blah, yada, blah, the ladies of Stockdale on the beach.
Yada, words, words, the Stockdales go white water rafting.
Words, blah, drinking out of a coconut.

Words, blah, the coconut is as big as the little Stockdale’s head.
Yada, blah, words, the ladies of Stockdale waiting at the airport for our midnight flight back to Seoul.
Mrs. Stockdale is disappointed there haven’t been any recent entries. Given that she is disappointed in me on a daily basis, I never really saw any of the past few months events as important.
Back in October, we went to Everland. It’s basically a bad Disneyland where you can feed guinea pigs with a ladle taped to a stick.
Then we had 30 people at the Stockdale compound for Thanksgiving.
Then the crazy little Stockdale lost a tooth.

Then we decorated for Christmas and the crazy little Stockdale got confused.

Then the big little Stockdale turned 10.
Then the crazy little Stockdale lost another tooth.
Then today, we got the first snow of the year.
Consider yourselves fully up-to-date on the Stockdales!

This elephant knows two and a half times more Korean than I do. Maybe I can catch him before we move someday.

I hope they lose this war. Korea would be less fun.
I guess there is really no other option than to link to this:

Half of this video completely MISrepresents life in Korea. The other half are things I see every day. Feel free to speculate on which is which.
